A document has been unearthed apparently showing that National Security Advisor, H.R McMaster felt that Obama official Susan Rice was worthy of having her Security clearance kept at top-level. There appears to be a contradiction in positions on this.
On the one hand, President Trump has clearly stated that he thinks Susan Rice has a lot to answer for, especially in terms of her “questionable” unmasking policy; and on the other, McMaster thinks she is “not a security issue.” What is an issue is that the two men can’t agree on what constitutes a national security threat.
Recent actions by McMaster involve him removing several key personnel from positions within the Trump administratio…all three known to be Trump Loyalists. Supporters and surrogates of the president see this as a move that could make his position less powerful, yet others maintain that McMaster is working purely in the National interest. We all need to take a good, long look at the facts and try to avoid biased media; actions speak louder than words.
Sarah Carter of Circa News reported recently that National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster gave Obama official Susan Rice top-secret security clearance. Check out the letter below.
According to Circa News, “The undated and unclassified letter from McMaster was sent in the mail to Rice’s home during the last week of April.” Trump was never aware of McMaster’s decision, say former Senior West Wing officials that chose not to be named.
Here is the letter. There is a full transcript below.
“I hereby waive the requirement that you must have a ‘need-to-know’ to access any classified information contained in items you ‘originated, reviewed, signed or received while serving,’ as National Security Adviser,” the letter said. The letter also states that the “NSC will continue to work with you to ensure the appropriate security clearance documentation remains on file to allow you access to classified information.”
Circa has previously revealed that President Obama’s top aides –Rice, John Brennan and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch routinely looked over intelligence reports received by the NSA.
They were supposedly doing it to take advantage of Obama’s relaxed rules that began in 2011.
McMaster says that Rice did nothing wrong, revealed Two United States intelligence officials to Bloomberg.
This is different from Trump’s stance. He told the New York Times in an interview, “I think the Susan Rice thing is a massive story.”
