During his campaign, Trump made a lot of promises. Liberals have been shocked that he is actually following through. It’s not like he campaigned for a full year on these issues.
President Trump keeps surprising the public with new orders, the latest sent liberals into a frenzy. Trump suspended for a few months immigration from war torn countries. It makes sense, maybe that’s why the liberals oppose it so much.
But, according to a recent news report, Trump has a shocker in store. One that will forever cement his reputations.
According to The Washington Post, his new order will “deny admission to any alien who is likely to become a public charge” and set up new standards for “determining whether an alien is deportable … for having become a public charge within five years of entry.”
To be a “public charge” is just a more delicate way of saying “receiving welfare and other ‘free’ government benefits.”
The goal would be to make the U.S. immigration system more “merit-based.” The order will also save taxpayers money by “baring undocumented immigrants from accessing the child tax credit, even when their children are U.S. citizens,” which would be a devastating blow to all the undocumented families hoping to turn their anchor babies into cold hard cash.
The Center for Immigration Studies reported, in 2012 roughly 51% of all immigrant households received welfare. Continuing a long line of scandals of the government giving hard earned tax dollars to free loaders.
