It has almost become fashionable to insult Christians nowadays. In the Middle East and Africa, Genocide of Christians is taking place (recognised by the UN, EU and US), and yet we hear nothing of their plight from the media or Hollywood. Instead, we have actors telling us to respect and look after the Muslim refugees whilst ignoring the millions of Christians and Yazidi Muslims who are being tortured, murdered, raped, and sold.
And Hollywood’s highest paid actress is no different. Jennifer Lawrence did an interview with Vogue magazine and was asked what she thought about a recent Kentucky case involving a clerk who was jailed for refusing to sign a gay marriage license. Instead of giving a magnanimous answer, she took the opportunity to not only deride the clerk but all Kentucky Christians: “All those people holding their crucifixes, which may as well be pitchforks, thinking they’re fighting the good fight. I grew up in Kentucky. I know how they are,”
The arrogance is shocking. She is saying that because someone takes a stand on something because of their religious belief, then all Kentucky Christians are pitchfork wielding bigots!!!
Here is a simple test…If a Muslim had refused to sign a gay marriage license, would she have said that all Muslims in the area were bigots, using their Korans as pitchforks? Of course she wouldn’t! Not only is she a bigot herself for classifying all people of one belief group as the same, but she is also a coward and a hypocrite.
Hollywood celebrity snowflakes love two things – living a life of excess, and insulting conservatives and Christians.
Just take remarks by Tinseltown’s highest-paid actress, Jennifer Lawrence, when she let loose on Christians from how home state of Kentucky.
In an interview with Vogue magazine, Lawrence was asked what she thought about that Kentucky county clerk who was jailed for refusing to sign gay marriage licenses.
Lawrence used the opportunity to insult not only Christians, but the Christian faith itself.
“All those people holding their crucifixes, which may as well be pitchforks, thinking they’re fighting the good fight. I grew up in Kentucky. I know how they are,” spewed Lawrence.
“It’s 2015 and gay people can get married and we think that we’ve come so far, so, yay! But have we? I don’t want to stay quiet about that stuff,” she continued.
Like it or not, American Christians make up a majority of the movie-going public.
Soooo, probably not a good idea to piss them off if your living depends on them buying movie tickets.
