It’s funny how so many people HATE Trump…but it reality he’s taking HUGE steps to cut the size of government, regulations, and taxes. What’s that mean for the middle class? Liberals love claiming that he’s only going to “help his friends”…but cutting the size of government, regulations, and taxes does something HUGE: it makes life easier on the little guy.
It helps businesses do well, so they hire people, lower the unemployment rate, and thereby increase how much everyone is making. How is that hard to understand?
Trump has long campaigned on “draining the swamp”… and that’s exactly what he’s doing.
President Trump signed a new executive order Monday instructing federal government agencies to cut duplicative and unnecessary programs across the board. The order is intended to “improve the efficiency, effectiveness and accountability of the executive branch.”
“This order requires a thorough examination of every executive department and agency to see where money is being wasted, how services can be improved and whether programs are truly serving American citizens,” Trump said at the White House. “Based on this input, we will develop a detailed plan to make the federal government work better, reorganizing, consolidating and eliminating where necessary. In other words, making the federal government more efficient and very, very cost productive. So we’re going to do something, I think, very, very special.”

That’s big league stuff.
From Fox News:
President Trump on Monday ordered a top-to-bottom audit of every Executive Branch department and agency to save money and improve services.
“This executive order is another major step toward making the federal government efficient, effective and accountable to the people,” Trump said in signing the order at the White House, while flanked by Cabinet members.
“There is duplication and redundancy everywhere. Billions and billions of dollars are being wasted on activities that are not delivering results,” he added.
Donald Trump clearly understands that government has grown too big.
That simple fact is a reason to be extremely optimistic about the next 4-8 years.
